- The conversion from Gas, Solid Fuel or Oil to 13amp can be completed on site usually within aday.
- Your Aga will be partially dismantled in order to install the 13amp Conversion and will then run on a comparatively low powered connection 13amp or 2.5KW,
- All internals and workings remain the same but instead of using a burner, an electric element tops the heat up in the cast iron as and when required throughout the day.
- Conduction and convection then gently spread the warmth to the hot plates and ovens using air which is re-circulated time and again - there are no 'products of combustion' to exhaust so the system is highly efficient.
- No need for a chimney or flue. No flue means no loss of heat up the flue.
